Our initial impression, just minutes into trying the VideoCash app, was one of annoyance. We were immediately bombarded with numerous unskippable ads, each lasting up to 35 seconds. What’s more, each session didn’t just show one ad, but up to two, and sometimes even more.
Of the many money making apps especially get paid to watch video apps we’ve reviewed, VideoCash is among the most frustrating.

What Is VideoCash?

VideoCash, with its official website https://videorichgo.com
, is an app that pays you to watch videos, including videos from other users of the app and also ad videos. At first glance, the app’s interface resembles TikTok or YouTube Shorts.
However, based on our checks, the video content played on the app consists of low-quality, non-original videos, re-uploaded from other platforms like SnackVideo, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
This app was not developed by a large tech company but by an individual user from China, who published an email address at mengjihua99@gmail.com
.
How VideoCash Works
Its working mechanism is very easy and can be done by anyone. Here are the steps:
- Registration: Every user must download and install this app directly from the Google Play Store, then register using a Google or Gmail account.
- Completing Tasks: To get paid, users can watch videos from other users on the home page, and also from various menus like “Watch Videos and Watch Ads,” “Gold Box and Super Box” (which display video ads when opened), playing “Lucky Wheel,” and more.
- Collecting Coins: Each payment or reward will accumulate based on its type, as some rewards are in gold coins and some are in diamond coins.
- Withdrawal: Once the coin rewards reach the minimum withdrawal threshold, users can request a withdrawal.
Example VideoCash Tasks

The image above is a screenshot of the tasks users can perform, such as watching videos from other users, watching video ads, and playing the Lucky Wheel for free every few minutes.
Payments of VideoCash

Although originating from China, the app’s developer seems to target users from Indonesia. This is evident from the withdrawal method options, which only support local Indonesian e-wallets like DANA and OVO.
The minimum withdrawal amount is 300,000 coins, which can be exchanged for $300 USD, for both gold and diamond coins.
Is VideoCash a Scam?

While we cannot definitively state that VideoCash is an absolute scam, based on our experience, this app strongly leans towards being a scam that doesn’t pay.
In other words, this app does not require users to deposit money, but it deceives users into performing various tasks that ultimately only benefit the app owner.
If calculated, this app actually offers a rather large and unreasonable payment for merely an app that pays for watching user-generated videos and ad videos. This is despite its very high minimum withdrawal policy, which makes it difficult for users to ever reach it.
If VideoCash is a scam, why hasn’t it been reported before?
Scam websites or apps that don’t pay are rarely reported by their users, especially those from Indonesia. This is because most reports are usually directed at scam sites or apps that demand users deposit or transfer money under various pretenses.
This is why non-deposit scam apps operating in Indonesia often remain active for a long time, even for years, despite users constantly changing over time.
Pros of VideoCash
Here are some advantages that make this app quite appealing to potential users:
- Free Registration: Any Android phone user can register and use this app for free.
- Easy Tasks: Simply by watching videos, users have the chance to earn large payments.
- Offers Large Rewards: The payments offered are far above the average for similar “get paid to watch video” apps.
- Supports Local E-wallets: For withdrawing earnings, this app supports DANA and OVO.
Cons of VideoCash
However, you should also consider some of its drawbacks before registering, such as the following:
- Unreasonable Rewards: By offering payments or rewards that are much larger than similar money-making apps, this can actually be an indication that the app is a scam that will eventually not pay. The simple logic is: where does this app get its profit if it has to pay users just for watching ads?
- Annoying Ads: As long as this app is installed on the user’s phone, the system will constantly display very disruptive full-screen ads.
- Very High Minimum Withdrawal: The minimum withdrawal amount policy is too high, at $300 USD or equivalent to around IDR 4.5 million. This seems to be merely a tactic to stall for time so that users keep using the app.
- Potential for Scam: Given the unreasonable rewards, the very high minimum withdrawal amount, and the fact that it’s not managed by a trustworthy company, this app has a very high potential to be a scam.
Conclusion
VideoCash is a “get paid to watch video” app with quite a number of significant drawbacks that have a high potential to harm its users. Therefore, we highly do not recommend this app to anyone.
The losses experienced by users of this app include wasted time, wasted internet data, and feelings of disappointment from working hard on video-watching tasks only to ultimately not get paid.
