When we first opened the PointAnt.com survey site, we felt very familiar with its design; it strongly resembles Chinese sites that are mostly used for scamming.
Out of curiosity, we registered to log in and get a detailed look at all its features and the paid survey programs it offers.
Now, let’s discuss it in detail, including how it works, its pros, cons, and whether it’s worth trying or not.

What Is PointAnt?

PointAnt.com is a paid survey platform designed to connect companies with consumers. By registering, users can complete surveys related to products, services, and market trends, earning rewards in the form of cash or vouchers.
This platform is managed by a Chinese company named PowerCX PTY LTD. It’s not surprising that it’s not as popular in Indonesia as, for example, Ipsos iSay, because this platform is a small paid survey company.
How PointAnt Works
To start earning money, users only need to visit its official website. After creating an account, users can begin taking available surveys. Here are the basic steps to use it:
- Registration: After downloading the app, users need to create an account with an email address and other basic information.
- Profile Completion: Users are asked to complete their profile. This information is important for their server to match users with relevant surveys.
- Taking Surveys: Once the account is active, users can choose which surveys to take. Each survey has a different duration and point value.
- Earning Rewards: After completing a survey, users will earn points that can be exchanged for cash or other prizes.
PointAnt Rewards and Payment

We did not find information on the types of payment methods provided when our earnings had not yet reached the minimum withdrawal amount, which is Rp50,000.
However, we could not determine what payment methods are supported, specifically whether they support PayPal or not.
Is PointAnt a Scam?
PointAnt is not a scam, at least for now. Why do we say that? Because to date, this platform does not have a good reputation like Ipsos iSay, AttaPoll, Opinion World, and other large paid survey platforms.
One common occurrence with small platforms is that they might not be a scam initially but later turn into one when they incur losses and consequently refuse to pay their users.
There are also no reviews on TrustPilot yet, and if you find an app called “PointAnt Class” on the Google Play Store and App Store, it is a different entity.
Pros of PointAnt
- 100% Free Registration: As long as you have an active email address, anyone can register for free without having to pay anything.
- Diverse Survey Options: The platform offers various types of surveys that can be chosen according to the user’s interests and experience. With many options, users can easily find relevant and interesting surveys for them.
Cons of PointAnt
- Points Are Sometimes Low: Although it offers various ways to earn points, the number of points obtained from each survey sometimes feels low. This can make users feel that their effort is not commensurate with the reward received.
- Surveys Are Sometimes Long: Some surveys offered can take quite a long time to complete. This can be frustrating for users who want to earn points quickly.
- Infrequent Survey Tasks: Although users will immediately be presented with some survey tasks upon registration, in many cases, survey availability will become scarce once earnings reach half or more of the minimum withdrawal amount.
- Potential for Scam: This platform does not yet have a good reputation as it is not yet popular in Indonesia, making this platform quite risky to become a scam.
Conclusion
PointAnt is not a scam, but it has a significant risk of becoming one, which could negatively impact users by merely wasting their time.
However, whether to register or not is entirely your right, and SurveyNation is only providing a recommendation.
Because in our opinion, instead of trying risky platforms, it is better to just try platforms that are already trustworthy and proven to pay.
