Remember Survoom.com, which we reviewed a few months ago? Well, a very similar site called RookSurvey has appeared, including the identical promise of huge rewards for every paid survey completed.
In fact, after registering and trying it ourselves, the scheme used is precisely the same: instructing users to click on Adsense ads that have been meticulously arranged using a special manipulation technique.

What Is RookSurvey?
RookSurvey.com is a new online paid survey website (without a mobile application) that promises large payments of up to $3.5 per easy survey task, which can be completed from a mobile phone or computer.
The management of this platform is unclear, as its official website does not list the managing company’s address.
How RookSurvey Works
Its working mechanism is more or less the same as general survey platforms:
- Account Registration: To start, users need to visit its official website and register by filling in basic information such as their name, email address, and password.
- Email Verification: Based on our experience, after registering, this site did not require email verification, and the account became active immediately, meaning even a fake email could be used.
- Completing Profile: After registration, the platform surprisingly did not ask users to update their profile to get suitable survey opportunities.
- Taking Surveys: After successfully logging in, users can start looking for and taking available surveys. These surveys cover various topics, from new products to existing services.
- Completing Surveys: After selecting a survey, users must fill it out according to the given instructions. The quality and accuracy of answers are important for earning rewards.
- Getting Rewards: After completing a survey, users will receive points that can be accumulated. These points can then be redeemed for rewards, such as cash or shopping vouchers.

The following is the task flow provided by RookSurvey, which is actually not a paid survey task but rather a task of clicking Google Adsense ads. See the image below:
The screenshot above is actually not a complete screenshot, as there are still several other steps that we did not show because we were reluctant to click the ads.
The main point is that the first step directs users to a site like https://www.goodreturn.xyz/sludge-mixing-equipment/ (which may vary), and then users are instructed to click a link labeled “Related Topics (Ads)”.
After clicking, it will lead to the following page, which has been set up with certain codes to manipulate the Google Adsense tracking system. In our opinion, this scheme will be more difficult to detect by Google’s system because the clicks originate from real users from different, unique IP addresses.
Payments of RookSurvey
The provided reward withdrawal methods include PayPal, Payoneer, and Bank Transfer, with a very high minimum withdrawal amount of $501 USD.
This policy differs by $1 from SurVoom, which has a $500 USD withdrawal policy. This minimum withdrawal policy is unreasonable and is typically only used by fraudulent sites with the sole purpose of stalling for time so that no user can ever reach it, ultimately leading to no payments.
Is RookSurvey a Scam?
Yes, just like SurVoom, which we are 100% convinced is a scam, SurveyNation believes RookSurvey.com is also a scam site disguised as an online paid survey platform.
Why are we convinced this site is a scam?
Some of its characteristics are as follows:
- It claims to offer a paid survey program, but in reality, it only directs users to click manipulated Google Adsense ads. In Google’s system, the clicks will be traced as coming from different IP addresses.
- The managing company is very unclear.
- It offers a high-paying, easy program. We were paid $0.30 – $3.50 USD just by clicking.
- The Survoom.com site (which is very similar) is only a little over 2 months old.
- The minimum withdrawal is $501, which is highly suspicious and likely a tactic to stall for time so that no user can ever reach it, ultimately resulting in no payments.
Conclusion
RookSurvey is a fraudulent site with a very high potential to only waste your time and benefit only them, so we highly recommend not signing up.
